Any water that appears where it shouldn't, can be a very distressing time as water can cause so much damage so before anything, always make sure you turn your water off to the property or if you can isolate it to that one area then even better.

If you don’t know how to do this, it is definitely worth getting to know where your stop cocks are so you know should anything happen, how to turn your water off. We are here to help if you have any issues locating them.
